Rug Canvas
Rug canvas is a type of canvas made by two intertwined lengthwise threads, intersecting with crosswise threads. This canvas cannot be separated.
Scroll Frame
Scroll Frames are made of top and bottom rods attached to two side arms.
Stretcher Bars
Primarily used to stretch artist's canvas, Stretcher Bars can be used in needlepoint as a frame to hold canvas taut as it is being stitched.
Table Stands
Table Stands allow you to mount your frame and stitch with both hands (you don't have to hold the frame).
Tapestry
Tapestry is "woven work", ...Some are confused and refer to needlepoint as tapestry. This is actually incorrect. Needlepoint more closely resemble embroidery and is often referred to as "canvas work embroidery".
Tapestry Needle
A tapestry needle is one with a blunt point and a large eye. They are available in a variety of sizes.
Tension
The correct Tension is achieved in needlepoint when stitches are not let too loose and they are not too tight.
Tent Stitch
Tent Stitch is one of the most used needlepoint stitches and is a small diagonal stitch spanning only a single canvas mesh.
