Plastic Canvas Round
1/8" Blue Satin Ribbon cut to 18"
1/8" Red Satin Ribbon cut to 18"
1/8" Green Satin Ribbon cut to 18"
1/8" Yellow Satin Ribbon cut to 18"
1/8" Orange Satin Ribbon cut to 18"
Scissors
Needle (optional)
Thread (optional to create loop for hanging)
Finished Design Size:
Approximately 4 1/2" wide by 6" long (depending on the length you trim finished streaming ribbon)
Stitching Tips:
If you plan on allowing a child to stitch this project, instead of using a needle, try wrapping the ribbon ends tightly in scotch tape and cutting at an angle. Once project stitching is done, simply snip off the taped ends and tie knots on the end of each ribbon.
The ribbon tends to twist as you stitch. Pay close attention to be sure each stitch lies flat against the canvas.
