Needlepoint Tip- Needlepoint Tip- More for "Lefties"
I totally agree. A teacher once tried to teach to do the upsidedown backwards bit! yikes! I never touche it again for years. You just have to realize which direction to put your needle in first and then it flows from there. Glad to see this input for "lefties." - Helen

Needlepoint Tip- Needlepoint Tip Left Handed Stitching
" I am left-handed and have not had a problem stitching with the canvas in its intended position. This is also true of the more complex stitches we often use. Sometimes watching how another stitcher stitches helps (and it doesn't matter if that person is right handed.) You are encouraged to try it the traditional way." -Robin

Needlepoint Tip- Needlepoint Tip Left Handed Stitching- Patterns
"There are few sourses of needlepoint for left handed people. The basic difference is that left hander's work a pattern "upside down and backwards" to that of right handers. If you have a pre-worked pattern to fill in, turn it upside down and your fill stitches will naturally slant the same way the pre-worked portion slants." -Sue

Needlepoint Tip for Left Handed Stitchers
"Most of the time, I don't have a problem....but....sometimes I reach a block and I have to have someone do the stitch in front of me so I can see the direction of the needle and stitch. I even have problems sometimes seeing a diagram and "switching it" in my mind. I love stitching and beading so I will never give up my passions!!!" -Karan
